Medical documents we attest
Medical papers fall into three rough groups, and each is used for a different purpose abroad.

Registration papers usually travel with the professional's degree and experience certificates. Each is a separate document with its own route and price.
Who issued it matters
A notary and an SDM can only verify a document that clearly shows who issued it. Medical papers are often handwritten or printed in a hurry, so check yours before you send it:
- Printed letterhead of the hospital, clinic or medical college
- The doctor's full name and medical registration number
- The doctor's signature in ink and the hospital or clinic stamp
- Your full name as in your passport, and the date of examination
- A clear statement of the finding, for example "fit to work" or the diagnosis
Government hospitals and large private hospitals usually issue papers in this form. A prescription slip from a small clinic often lacks the registration number or stamp, and cannot be verified until the doctor issues a proper certificate.
Visa medicals at a panel clinic. Some countries send your visa medical results straight from their own approved clinic to the immigration office. Those results do not need attestation. Check your visa instructions before you pay for something that is not needed.
The route to the MEA
Medical certificates and reports are treated as personal documents. They reach the MEA after one of two verifications.
Route A
Notary + SDM → MEA
The usual route for most countries. ₹1,500 per document up to the MEA apostille.
Route B
Home Department → MEA
Required for personal documents going to Italy, Spain and Portugal, and whenever a checklist names state verification.
Registration papers from a medical or nursing council are official documents of that council. Some foreign authorities verify them by writing to the council directly. That exchange is between you and the council. We attest the paper copies you hold when your checklist asks for them.

Gulf countries ask for health workers' documents more than any other region we deal with. Nurses and doctors moving there usually attest the degree, registration and experience papers as one set, so send us the full list together.
Translation of medical papers
Medical language is precise, and a loose translation can change what a report says. If the receiving office works in Arabic, German, Spanish or any other language, we translate your certificate or report into it. We keep drug names, test values and units exactly as written in the original, and translate the surrounding text.
Tell us early if you need translation, because some countries want it attested along with the original and some do not.
Questions about medical certificate attestation
My fitness certificate is a few months old. Will it still be accepted?
That depends on the office abroad. Many want a certificate issued within a recent period. If yours is old, get a fresh one before attestation so you do not pay twice.
Can you attest a long medical report with many pages?
Yes. Keep the pages together as issued by the hospital. Send us a photo of the first and last pages and we will confirm the price.
Will my medical details be seen by anyone else?
Only the offices that verify the document see it, as with any attestation. We handle your file only for the work you ask us to do.
I am a nurse going to the Gulf. Which documents do I attest?
Usually the nursing degree or diploma, the council registration and experience letters. Your employer's checklist is the final word, so send it with your first message.
