Why Kuwait looks closely at your qualification
Employers in Kuwait commonly match the role on your work permit to the qualification you can prove. For regulated professions, the degree also has to be accepted for degree equivalency or professional registration. An unattested certificate cannot be used for either, so the request for attestation usually arrives early, often with the offer letter.
The table shows what different professionals are commonly asked for. Treat it as a starting point. The employer's checklist and the Kuwaiti authority's current rules always decide.

Check your documents before sending them
Most delays on Kuwait files come from problems with the documents themselves. A few minutes with your papers and your passport can save a lot of back and forth.
- Your name is spelled the same way on the degree, the marksheets and the passport
- The degree shows the university's name and seal clearly, with no torn corners
- No document is laminated, because many offices will not stamp a laminated sheet
- If the checklist asks for the degree, you have the final degree certificate in hand
- Marksheets for all years are together, if the employer wants them
We cannot change anything printed on a certificate. If a name or date is wrong, the university has to issue a corrected document before attestation starts. Tell us early and we will explain what the State HRD step needs.
The chain, document by document
Every Kuwait document passes through the MEA and then the Kuwait Embassy in New Delhi. The first office depends on the kind of document.

What happens after you land
Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs adds a final attestation inside Kuwait. Your employer or sponsor normally guides you on this, and in many cases submits the documents on your behalf. We have no role in that step. Our part ends when the Kuwait Embassy in India has stamped the originals and we have returned them to you.
Bring the attested originals to Kuwait in your hand luggage, and keep scans of every page on your phone. The authority handling your degree equivalency or registration may ask to see the originals more than once.
Questions about Kuwait attestation
I am a nurse with a diploma, not a degree. Can it be attested for Kuwait?
Yes. A diploma follows the same education route as a degree: State HRD, then the MEA, then the Kuwait Embassy.
My name on the degree is spelled slightly differently from my passport. Is that a problem?
It can be. Send us photos of both before you courier anything. Depending on the difference, the employer may accept a supporting document, or the university may need to correct the certificate.
Can you attest my engineering transcripts as well as the degree?
Yes. Transcripts and marksheets go through the same chain. Each one is a separate document, so tell us how many you have when you ask for the quote.
Do you handle the attestation at Kuwait's foreign ministry?
No. That step happens in Kuwait. We finish everything up to the Kuwait Embassy in India.
