Which documents take which route
The question to ask for Vietnam is simple: is this a personal or education paper, or does it belong to a business? The answer decides the whole process, the price band and how many offices the document visits.
Education and personal
MEA apostille
Degrees, diplomas, marksheets, transcripts, birth and marriage certificates, PCCs, affidavits. One MEA apostille and the document is ready for Vietnam. From ₹1,000 per document.

This is how Vietnamese offices accept our clients' papers in practice. If a buyer or a school in Vietnam has given you a written list that asks for something different, send it to us before anything moves.
Studying, teaching or living in Vietnam
English teachers are one of the largest groups we help with Vietnam. A teaching work permit file usually asks for an apostilled degree and an apostilled police clearance certificate. Students going for higher studies need their marksheets and degree apostilled for admission. Spouses and children joining a family member need birth and marriage certificates.
Education documents reach the MEA through one of two pre-verification routes:
- Notary + SDM: the common route for Vietnam. ₹1,500 per document with the MEA apostille included.
- State HRD: verification by the state higher education department, used when a checklist asks for it. On quote.
Personal documents go through Notary + SDM or the State Home Department before the MEA. For the PCC, please note that we do not issue or apply for it. You get it from Passport Seva or the police, and we apostille it.
Already have the SDM or Home Department stamp? If your document has been verified correctly and only needs the MEA apostille, the price is ₹1,000 per document. Send us a photo and we will check whether the earlier stamps are usable.
Company documents for Vietnam
Indian exporters, pharma companies and service firms dealing with Vietnamese partners regularly need company papers legalised. Vietnam does not take the apostille route for these. The documents go first to the Chamber of Commerce, then for MEA attestation, and then to the Vietnam Embassy in New Delhi for legalisation.
Papers we often handle on this route:
- Certificate of origin and commercial invoice
- Certificate of incorporation, Memorandum and Articles of Association
- GMP, free sale and product registration certificates
- Board resolution, authorisation letter or power of attorney for a Vietnamese agent
Company documents should be signed by an authorised signatory and carry the company seal. If the Vietnamese side needs a translation into Vietnamese, we arrange it.
Sending your documents

If you are in Delhi, you can drop the documents at our New Ashok Nagar office and collect them there. From other cities, courier the originals to us. We send them back by Blue Dart or another secure courier with a tracking number. We give you a time estimate with the price, before you send anything.
Questions about Vietnam documents
I am going to Vietnam as an English teacher. Which documents usually need the apostille?
Most teaching work permit files ask for the degree and a police clearance certificate. Some schools also ask for a TEFL certificate or a medical report. Share the school's list and we will tell you which items can be apostilled in India.
Does my degree need the Vietnam Embassy stamp as well?
No. For education and personal documents the MEA apostille is the final step for Vietnam. The embassy stage applies to commercial documents.
We are sending both a director's degree and company papers. Can you handle both?
Yes. They follow different routes, so the degree may be ready before the company papers. We track them as one job and return them together or separately, as you prefer.
Can the apostille be done on an e-certificate or a printout?
It depends on the issuing body. Some digitally issued certificates can be verified, others cannot. Send us the file and we will check before you print or courier anything.
