Students of the many engineering colleges affiliated to Anna University hold a degree issued by the university itself, so the route is the same whichever college you attended. Gulf jobs: apostille for some countries, embassy for others
Engineers, nurses, technicians and accountants from Tamil Nadu commonly take up work in the Gulf. The six Gulf countries do not all follow the same rule, so the country on your offer letter decides the work.
Saudi Arabia, Bahrain
One MEA stamp is enough
Saudi Arabia accepts only the newer e-apostille with a QR code. The older embassy chain is no longer used. Bahrain mostly needs the apostille plus a translation.
UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman
State check, MEA, then the embassy

Malaysia: many Tamil Nadu families have links there, but Malaysia does not accept an apostille. Documents need Malaysia Embassy attestation, which we quote separately.
Certificates in Tamil, and names written with initials
Older corporation birth certificates, some marriage records and many school documents are printed partly or fully in Tamil. A foreign office usually wants a translation in English or in its own language. Tell us which language the checklist names and we quote the translation with the apostille, so both are ready together.
Look at the name as well. Many people in Tamil Nadu carry an initial on their certificates, while the passport spells the father's name in full. Point out any difference when you first message us, so we can tell you what the destination is likely to ask for before you send the originals.
PCC apostille for Tamil Nadu residents
A police clearance certificate is often part of a Gulf or European work file. We do not apply for one. You get it yourself from a Passport Seva Kendra or Post Office PSK, or from the police. Once you have it, we take it through MEA apostille, or MEA attestation and the embassy for countries such as the UAE. The full process is on the PCC apostille page.
Questions from Chennai clients
I studied at an Anna University affiliated college in Coimbatore. Does that change anything?
No. The degree is issued by Anna University, so the route depends only on the destination country and its checklist.
My nursing job in Saudi Arabia asks for attestation. Do I still need the Saudi Embassy?
No. Saudi Arabia now takes the MEA e-apostille with a QR code. We make sure your document gets the QR version, which is the only one accepted.
Do I need to visit Tamil Nadu's Higher Education Department myself?
No. We handle the state verification after your originals reach us. If the department needs marksheets or an authority letter, we tell you before you courier.
I have a job offer in Kuala Lumpur. Is an apostille enough?
No. Malaysia needs Malaysia Embassy attestation. Send us the offer letter's document list and we quote the full chain.
Is there anywhere in Chennai where I can hand over my papers?
No. Our only office is in New Delhi, and we do not collect from homes or offices. Book a tracked courier to us, and we return the documents by Blue Dart.
