We are not a recruitment agency and we do not issue PCCs. Your PCC comes from a Passport Seva Kendra, POPSK or Regional Passport Office, or from the police. We certify the PCC you already have so it can go into your Israel visa file.
Caregivers and construction workers
Most PCCs we see for Israel belong to two groups of workers.
| Job | How the file usually reaches you | What to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Caregiver (B1 work visa) | A licensed recruitment agency, with the visa file going to the Israeli mission in India | Whether the PCC needs an apostille as well as translation |
| Construction worker | Recruitment run under government arrangements between India and Israel | The exact PCC type and format named in your selection papers |
The Israeli Embassy in India lists the criminal clearance certificate among the caregiver documents, together with a birth certificate that is also translated and certified. If you lived in another country for six months or more, the same page asks for a PCC from that country too. That one comes from the other country, not from India.
What "translated and certified" means for you
The embassy wording asks for a certified, translated certificate. It does not spell out who certifies it. Israel is a Hague Apostille Convention member, so when an agency or the mission wants the Indian PCC certified, the usual Indian step is the MEA apostille. Many agencies ask for it. Some only want the translation. Follow your agency's list.
Passport Seva PCC
Straight to the MEA
₹1,000 for the apostille. Translation on quote.
Police station, SP or Commissioner PCC
State step first
₹1,500 with Notary + SDM where accepted. Home Department of the issuing state on quote.
Ask your agency which language they want the translation in. If they name a translator or office in Israel that must certify it, we cannot replace that step from India, and we will tell you so before we start.
The six-month window
The Israeli Embassy's caregiver page asks for a criminal clearance valid for six months. Count that from the issue date printed on your PCC, not from the date of the apostille. Caregiver files often wait for an agency slot, an interview at the visa centre and medical tests, so a PCC taken out too early can run out before the file moves. Ask your agency when to apply, then send the PCC to us soon after you receive it.

Questions about PCC apostille for Israel
Can you get me a caregiver job or a visa slot for Israel?
No. We only apostille and translate documents. Jobs, visa slots and interviews are handled by your licensed agency and the Israeli mission.
My agency also wants my birth certificate translated and certified. Can you do that?
Yes. A birth certificate goes through Notary + SDM or the State Home Department before the MEA. See birth certificate attestation, and ask us to quote both documents together.
I worked in a Gulf country before. Which PCC do I need?
The embassy page asks for an Indian PCC, plus a PCC from any country where you stayed six months or more. We can apostille only the Indian one. The Gulf PCC comes from that country.
Is the apostille the same as embassy attestation for Israel?
No. Israel accepts the apostille, so the Israeli Embassy does not need to stamp the PCC itself.
My PCC was issued five months ago. Is it still usable?
It may be too close to the six-month limit. Ask your agency when the file will be submitted before paying for the apostille.
